Qualification Purpose

The TQUK Level 2 Award In Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People provides learners with the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of how to safeguard and protect children, young people and practitioners in the workplace and how to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused. It will prepare learners to progress to a qualification in the same or another subject area and prepare them for employment 

Entry Requirements
 

• The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above. 

• There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum level one in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
